The purpose of this meeting is to reflect together on the COP27 achievements on topics such as food systems, sustainable agriculture, nature and forests in relation to the climate negotiations. Interim Director of the NFP Han de Groot as well as the founder of Clim-Eat Danush Dinesh, and other public and private sector members of our network will share their reflections and key-takeaways. Did the formal negotiations deliver outcomes that facilitate the acceleration of action on the interface of climate and food systems? Did the Egyptian Presidency programme or the dialogues in the Food Systems Pavilion generate new food for thought or agreements about action? We specifically invite you as a network member to share your views on new insights gained and freshly established partnerships during COP27. What do you see as the opportunities for the future of the climate-food-nature agenda?
In preparation for this session, we have compiled a short overview of some food for thought stemming from official documents and both appreciative and critical reflections on the achievements of COP27. This overview can be found below .
You are kindly invited to register for the online meeting and answer some preparatory questions via the link below. Registered participants will receive a zoom link and the agenda a few days before the meeting. Registrations will close at 12:00 CET 8 December.
