Pitch Your Partnership at NFP World Food Day 2025

In the lead-up to World Food Day 2025, Netherlands Food Partnership is launching Pitch Your Partnership; an invitation to showcase your most compelling ideas for strengthening partnerships that drive food system transformation. The contest is part of NFP’s commitment to building Partnerships that Feed the Future. Pitch Your Partnership provides a stage to highlight creative and impactful approaches to collaboration that can help deliver sustainable, healthy, safe, and affordable diets for all. (Please Not Application deadline has now passed. No new proposals will be accepted.)

A call for innovative partnership pitches that contribute to more sustainable and equitable food systems.
The opportunity to share how partnerships—between public, private, research, and civil society actors can accelerate solutions.
Finalists will present their pitch as part of the World Food Day 2025 programme.
The winning pitch will receive support from NFP to make the idea a reality.

From dialogue to direction: What the Food Diamond Dialogues Taught Us

Something struck me during our final Food Diamond Dialogue session on June 2nd, which brought together people from knowledge institutions, civil society organizations, government, and the private and financial sector - the so-called Dutch Diamond actors. As a room full of professionals from these diverse fields gathered to discuss how we can collectively increase our impact on food and nutrition security in low- and middle-income countries, it became clear how differently organizations within and across the Diamond perceive their roles and responsibilities.

The Biodiversity & Food Systems Shared Messages are the result of an intentional community-owned co-development process convened by the Netherlands Food Partnership and shaped together with members of the Biodiversity & Food Systems Partnership. The Shared Messages articulate a common ground across sectors, actors, and scales, while recognising the importance of pluralism, different ways of knowing, and context-specific pathways for change.
